This series is a pneumatic type sanitary 3-pc ball valve with tri-clamp / tri-clamp ends and Encapsulated PTFE seat, which is extensively used in food & beverage processing, brewing, oil refinery, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries to control medium flow. The Encapsulated PTFE seat design with no residue makes it an optimum choice for sanitary needs,this type of ball valve operates automatically by actuators.

Sanitary ball valves, is also called as hygienic ball valve which are opened by turning handles attached to balls inside the valves. The ball has a hole or port through the middle. When the port is in line with both ends of the valve, flow will occur. When the valve is closed, the hole is perpendicular to the ends of the valve, and flow is blocked.A ball valve is durable and usually work to achieve perfect shutoff even after years of disuse.
